WHAT TO TELL US
So that the venue staff can ensure you have an enjoyable experience, you can let us know when you book your tickets whether you have any specific requirements, such as the need for step free access or if you will be bringing an assistance dog. You can discuss your needs by phone in confidence with our staff or you can self-certify when registering online.
Accessible performances are scheduled as regularly as possible, so if you are specifically interested in Relaxed, Audio Described or Captioned performances, you can let us know by phone, email or when registering for your account by checking the relevant box.
HOW TO BOOK
You can make a booking in any of the following ways:
EMAIL: You can email the box office on access@kxtickets.com– this inbox will be monitored from 10am-6pm Monday to Saturday.
ONLINE: You can book online – to book access tickets, you will need to register and create an account first:
Click on ‘Log In’ at the top of the page. If you have your email address and password already, you can use them to access your account and book your accessible seats. If you do not have your username and password, click ‘Register Now’. You will need to enter some details about yourself, including your name, email address and phone number. Then you can use the dropdown menu to select your access requirement – if you have more than one, please briefly explain any further needs you have in the ‘Other Access Requirements’ box or drop us an email at access@kxtickets.com so we can add the correct notes to your account. This will make future bookings even easier.
If you are interested in upcoming accessible performances, you can use the second dropdown box to let us know that you would like to be informed when they are scheduled. When any performances matching your preference are announced, we will send you an email so that you can book your tickets. You can then create a password for your account – you will need this to log in next time you want to buy tickets from us, so make it something memorable or make a note of it and keep it in a safe place. (Don’t worry if you do forget it though – you can reset your password by clicking ‘Log in’, entering your email address and clicking ‘Reset here’ next to ‘Forgotten Your Password?’ An email will be sent to you prompting you to click a link which will take you to a page where you can enter a new password.)
Once you’ve entered these details, you will need to supply your postal address. This is so that your payment details can be verified with your bank and we have your address if you would like us to send you your tickets. You can enter your post code and click ‘Find Address’ – this will allow you to select your address from a list – or you can enter your address manually, if you would prefer. You will then be asked about your Contact Preferences – this means you can tell us how you’re happy for us to get in touch with you. If you would like to be informed of upcoming productions, including accessible performances, you can decide whether you would prefer to get this information by email or by post (or both!) by ticking the box you choose. If you would like the show’s producers to be able to send you details of their upcoming productions, you can check the box to let us know you’re happy for selected third parties to contact you by email or post. You can unsubscribe from this at any time by logging into your account and unticking the boxes, or clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the promotional email or by emailing us at access@kxtickets.com – we will ensure no further marketing is sent to you by post or email. If you would rather not receive any contact from us or our producers, you can simply untick the boxes and we will not use your details to contact you unless there is an issue with the particular performance you have booked for. In the rare event that this happens, we will call or email you to let you know of any changes and whether you need to reschedule your tickets. Our staff can guide you through this process. Once you’ve submitted these details, your account will be created.
You can then find tickets to the show(s) you wish to see – accessible seats will be represented by a star icon on the seating plan.
If you hover your mouse over these star icons, you will be able to see additional information that will tell you details about the seat such as whether it is suitable for wheelchair users, whether it has a good view of captions, whether it has a good view of captions or a good signal for the hearing loop.

Galleries: Enter at row B. 2 steps down to row A. 2 steps up to row C. 6 steps up to row D.
Steps in the Galleries are steep and narrow.
In addition there is double door access from street to the foyer via a ramp: 1.6m
STALLS
Row F has step free access. There are steps down, via the aisles, to all other rows
There are wheelchair positions and accessible seating for customers with various needs.
GALLERIES
Access to the Galleries is up a flight of stairs, with no lift access. Once at Gallery level, the steps to access Rows C and D are steep. Seats in Row A have narrow access due to the original features of the grade II listed galleries. These seats may not be suitable for patrons with access requirements or vertigo sufferers. We advise that patrons with access requirements check with box office before purchasing Gallery tickets.
WHEELCHAIR SPACES
The primary wheelchair space in the auditorium is in the Courtroom Stalls, row F 160. This is not a seat but a space where a wheelchair can be parked for the duration of the performance. Seat F 159 next to it is locked for a companion.

LIFT ACCESS
Access to the Stalls can be step free as there is a lift from the street to the atrium, and a separate lift from the atrium to the chamber (stalls).
There is no lift access to the Galleries so please do not book ticket on the Gallery level if you are unable to manage stairs or heights.
Doors on the lifts are automatic.

HEARING LOOP
There is a hearing loop at the venue for patrons who are hard of hearing. The system works best in the Courtroom Stalls and Central Gallery and can be obtained from our Front of House team.
ASSISTANCE ANIMALS
There is space in front/under seats in the Stalls for assistance animals to sit without blocking aisles, which are sometimes used by the cast to enter/exit the stage.
If you would prefer our Front of House team to take care of your assistance animal during the performance, please let us know and your animal can be cared for in a safe place until you need them returned to you.
ACCESSIBLE TRAVEL INFORMATION
Public Transport: Step free access from the Jubilee Line at Waterloo Station (9 minute walk) and the Circle and District Lines at Westminster (7 minute walk).

Walking: Both Westminster and Waterloo Bridges are wheelchair accessible, as are the Golden Jubilee Bridges, connecting the South Bank with Victoria Embankment.
Driving: There are a couple of car parks nearby, though they are relatively expensive;

Q-Park Westminster is a 12 minute walk away and whilst it does not have any disabled parking bays, Q-Park strive to make their car parks accessible with lifts, ramps and automatic doors – http://www.q-park.co.uk/parking/london/q-park-westminster
Please note that as Belvedere Road is a private road, it is not possible for taxis or other vehicles to drop off at the entrance to County Hall.
The nearest drop off point for vehicles is 50 metres from the theatre entrance at the corner of Belvedere Road and Chicheley Street. Alternatively, taxis can drop off at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge which is a shot walk over Forum Magnum Square to the theatre entrance.
